Who we are
NGriid is operated by NGRIID LIMITED, a private company limited by shares incorporated in Nigeria, company registration number 6968593. Our contact address is 7 Jibowu Fayemi Close, Ogudu, Lagos, Nigeria. We are responsible for the use of personal information described in this notice. Contact hello@ngriid.com about your information.
This notice covers ngriid.com, website enquiries and requested demonstrations. Customer deployments and the processing of electricity-network or customer records require their own applicable service agreements and privacy information.
Enquiries and requested access
Our enquiry form collects your first and last name, email address, enquiry type and whether you want a demo. We record the submission time and the version of the permission wording. We use this information, with your consent, to follow up on that enquiry and provide any demo access you request. Providing these details is voluntary, but we need them to process the form and respond. You can also contact us directly by email.
Our marketing team receives enquiries at hello@ngriid.com and may assign a team member to follow up. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to general marketing. We do not currently use purchased, scraped, imported or general-marketing mailing lists.
A requested demo passes the necessary name and email details to our account service. It checks account and invitation status to determine the available access or next steps. You can contact us if you need help with the result. During B2B onboarding, NGriid administrators use their ngriid.com addresses; DisCo administrators supply their chosen addresses to an NGriid administrator. Invitations and recovery messages serve account access and do not enroll recipients in marketing.
Website security
We process technical information in our legitimate interest in protecting the website and preventing abuse. Cloudflare Turnstile checks form submissions using information such as your IP address and browser signals. Our server sends the verification token and IP address to Cloudflare. See the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
We use protected representations of IP and email addresses to limit repeated submissions. Hosting and email services also process technical request, delivery and security records. A security check can prevent a submission; it does not verify ownership of an email address.
Who receives information
Information is available to the NGriid team members handling your enquiry, account access or privacy request, and to the service providers needed for those purposes. We use Vercel for website hosting, Firebase and Google Cloud for enquiry storage and processing, Cloudflare for form protection, and Zoho for email. Amazon Web Services supports our account infrastructure and Amazon SES is retained as an alternative email provider.
These providers may process information outside Nigeria. Applicable data-protection requirements govern international transfers. Contact hello@ngriid.com to request information about the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your information. We may also disclose information where required by law.
How long information is kept
Website enquiry records are scheduled for expiry 90 days after submission. Their recorded permission details expire with them. Technical deletion can occur after that scheduled time. The form's IP rate-limit records expire after one hour and email rate-limit records after 30 days.
Email correspondence, account records, logs and backups are separate from the enquiry record. Their retention depends on the ongoing enquiry or service relationship, security needs and applicable legal obligations. The enquiry expiry does not delete those copies. You can ask us about retention or request deletion of information relating to you.
A minimal stop-contact record is kept separately for as long as needed to honor your request and prevent unwanted enquiry follow-up. It includes the contact address, scope of the request and a record of its handling. It is not permission to send further marketing.
Your choices and privacy requests
Email hello@ngriid.com to stop enquiry follow-up, withdraw consent, ask for access to your information, correct it, or request deletion, restriction or a portable copy. You may also object to relevant processing. These rights apply subject to the conditions in applicable law; withdrawing consent does not undo processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing personal information. Please describe your request first rather than sending identity documents or passwords to the shared inbox. We process privacy requests to meet our data-protection obligations and retain the record needed to honor contact preferences.
Stopping enquiry follow-up does not by itself close an account or cancel a password reset you separately request. Tell us if you also want account closure or have a broader concern. You can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
